This Week we will work on...
Reading
- students visualize to make sense of the text
- students use schema and make inferences as they visualize
- students consider a character's point of view ad distinguish it from their own
- students will read independently
- students will work on their speaking and listening skills

Math
- We will finish up rounding and adding & subtracting up to 1000 with our re-test on Monday.
- This week our focus will be understanding perimeter.
- Homework will be given out nightly.
Social Studies:
- We will finish up our study of Geography this week and test early the following week. I will send home the study guide on Tuesday. I will also send home the Geography reading packet to help study for this test. The students will be able to use the Geography reading packet during this test.
- Please complete homework in pencil.
- Please check over your child's homework to make sure it is complete and done correctly
- Reading log must be completed and turned in on Friday for 100% in Homework Participation. It is reading for 30 minutes for 4 days and responding to each reading during that time. In your child's binder is their reading log and response ideas, they can pick the way they want to respond.
