This past year has been a wild one,being in the Library I realized that I have truly missed my passion....TEACHING! I know you are saying, "but wait, you were teaching in the Library". Yes, I was, but not the in-depth, ah ha moment, twinkle in a student's eyes when he finally got it, kind of teaching! I had entire year of teaching in the Library and was reminded almost daily that I missed the classroom. I missed teaching on the VERY first day students walked in for Meet & Greet and I didn't have a classroom set up and a group of students to meet! I missed class picture day when I stood and groomed each student so their parent would be happy with the photo. I missed every single 180 days of love & stress over MY kids, because that is what my students were to me, MY kids! Leaving the Library was a difficult decision, but this quote is what constatly reminded me of what I love....
I am now teaching my FAVORITE grade ONE!
So, here we go again, I have tons to say all the time, just not the time to always put it on my blog, but I am going to try so hard to document my year here!
